We at the SFAA hope that you are keeping well and safe. As many of you can appreciate COVID-19 is taking its toll on many parts of regular life as it is with archery life.
There have been a few questions asked regarding membership for the 2020/2021 season and we have taken the decision to only ask for membership to be paid for the period during which competitions are active.
Therefore, there are three options available :
- Members who have already paid their membership for 2020/2021and wish to keep it running : This will now run over into the following season for the equivalent months lost this season. Calculations will be subsequently made and the overpayment removed from next season's fees.
- Members who have already paid their membership for 2020/2021 but would like a refund : If you would prefer to receive reimbursement of paid membership fees, please contact the Membership Secretary either by email or using the our online contact form (selecting 'Membership' from the 'Reason for Contact' dropdown options).
- Members yet to pay : You will now have the option of paying this from the reintroduction of competitions. For example, if we start in August, you will only be asked to pay for the remaining 6 months membership.
The reintroduction of competitions is obviously reliant upon Government authorisation of public gatherings to recommence.
We hope this provides clarity regarding membership and look forward to shooting with you once more once we are able to recommence normal activities again.
