The SFAA are currently looking for an individual to join their Board in one of the Appointed Support Officers [non-voting] roles, specifically the Communications & Media Officer role. The is as a result of the current incumbent stepping down from the role at the end of November 2020.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing the SFAA website, managing its associated social media channels and providing the Board with guidance / support around general communication matters and cyber security.
Pre-requisites for the role are as follows :
- Knowledge of desktop publishing software, web design, CSS, content management systems (specifically Joomla) and social media platforms
- Prior experience of managing and developing online content (including a solid understanding of managing associated infrastructure / hosting accounts and cyber security risks)
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
